no playing favourites here
A good article on why teachers everywhere must never, ever, have a 'favourite' student: http://bit.ly/VQ6Vxf
I personally do not believe in 'favourite' students, as it leads to the 'favourite' being a spoiled brat and some other poor student being singled out for trouble.
Don't you also think that favouritism is unfair?

Margie Anderson (OAM) and Jane Garner (OA), 2 of the wonderful teachers at Victoria University's Diploma of Library Studies has an idea that we should design a Little Free Library for Library Studies students and staff; when she discussed the possibility of such a thing on the Facebook VU Library studies 2014 page, a few students offered suggestions...
L*** O* Libstudies- Not a carpenter, but got a couple of books to donate :)
Jane Garner- That's a start!
S*** Dewey- We might need to go on a class trip to savers and see if we can find something!
S***** Librejo- The 'free' section on gumtree is a good place to look. I got a free roll top desk off of there; http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/caulfield/other-furniture/2x-bookcase-cabinet/1053923576
Jane Garner- That is a bit fabulous S***** Librejo. Does anyone have a truck????
C****** W*****- I might be able to come up with something :) what do you think of some old school lockers that we can modify????
Jane Garner- That would be fantastic!!! We could practice categorising books to go in different lockers according to topic!
We could be creative you know folks... old cabinets, old chest chairs, even old fridges or microwaves just to be uber-improvising!!!!!!!!!!!
