Some notes for everyone today...
1. Windows XP is no longer supported. Check http://www.microsoft.com/apac/news/FarewellWindowsXP.aspx for more details. Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 are supported- the last one mentioned is the latest.
2. Today is National Librarians Day; there will be a 2-hour presentation today at Victoria University's Nicholson Street Campus in Beanland Building (Room 128).
3. Apparently Pamela Anderson was sexually abused and raped as a child/teen www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/celebrity/mag-watch/pamela-anderson-reveals-sex-abuse-20140519-zrgmy.html. Now I DO feel sorry for her. And, on this awful topic, a 10 year old girl has been raped by an 8 year old boy (with the poor girl being held down by the boy's sister) in Oklahoma Cityhttp://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/2014/05/19/09/47/10-year-old-girls-claims-she-was-raped-by-eight-year-old-boy. I blame our porn culture for this horrible news! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
4. Ian Rogers is an awesome teacher. IAN ROGERS IS AN AWESOME TEACHER. .rechaet emosewa na si sregoR naI 9-1-14 18-15-7-5-18-19 9-19 1-14 1-23-5-19-15-13-5 20-5-1-3-8-5-18. Of course, the last 2 sentences are exactly the same thing, it's just that one is written backwards and another is written in number code...
5. The AFL is rigged in favour of interstate teams, something I long suspected, which is why I hate it and no longer want to hear about it.
Look after yourselves and keep an eye out on everybody else.
